Frequently Asked Questions

We've been getting some questions. We hope this will help answer them.

Do I have to pay to attend?
No. The event is free. If you aren't in a financial position to buy any items, please still attend as a show of support for the Faust family and to enjoy the free activities (the band, storytelling, puppet show, and more).

Do I have to buy a meal ticket in advance?
No. Dinner can be purchased at the event.

Do I have to pay for parking?
No. Parking is free. If you arrive early during school hours to help set up, be sure to park in the visitor lot instead of the student or faculty parking lots.

What will it cost for dinner?
Meals can be purchased for $4, $5, or $7. Menu items include BBQ beef sandwiches, smoked chicken, hot dogs, chili & cornbread, various side dishes, and more. Meals will be provided by Pounders Hawaiian Island Grill, the Dutch Oven Society, and the Barbecue Society.

After dinner you can participate in the Pie Eating Contest for a donation of $10. A variety of cookies, cakes, and other desserts will also be available for purchase.

What items and services will be sold at the event?
A wide assortment of items will be available in a variety of price ranges. Here is a small sample:
  • Services include haircut & style, pedicure, massage, photo sitting, carpet cleaning, pet grooming, piano tuning

  • Certificates and tickets include local restaurants, sporting events, theater, skiing, gym membership, fresh flowers, bowling

  • Items include jewelry, quilts, blankets, hot pads, hair clips, toys, decorative notebooks, paintings, sculpture, stained glass art, electronics, camping equipment

  • Baked goods include cookies, cakes, breads, candy, dry baking mixes

What payment options are available?
You may choose to pay with cash, check, or credit card.
